Instructions to the candidates :

  1. Online registration starts from 6th May 2017 and ends on 2nd June 2017, 5 pm.
  2. All the online registered candidates will get a confirmation email, before 5th June 5pm. The candidates may have to look into the spam folders of their email account. In case any problems, the candidates are requested to contact the Coordinator.
  3. All the confirmed registered candidates have to undergo trial tests between 5/6/2017 to 6/6/2017 5pm. All the candidates have to change their password during the first logging time.
  4. The exam duration is 3 hours, between 10 am. to 4 pm. which can be fixed according to the convenience of the exam centre.
  5. The online model tests can be done either in PC or mobile phone, only under the supervision of Teachers.
  6. It is the responsibility of students to find a Physics teacher as local coordinator, preferably an APT member. The teacher should contact the coordinator to get the exam admin password. This admin password will be given to the supervising teacher, just before the exam. This password has to be entered for starting the exam. The teacher should send an email to the Exam coordinator, expressing the willingness to conduct the examination and the facilities.
  7. The students can appear for the examination only during their choice of 3 hours, either in morning session or afternoon session. No further extension of time allowed, even if the computer or internet facility fails during the examination.
  8. The non-programmable scientific calculators are allowed during the exam. However browsing the internet or using any study materials is not allowed.
  9. The answer keys will be published on the website www.aptkerala.org. The students can seek clarification from Dr.N.Shaji, Maharajas College, Ernakulam through email : nshaji101@gmail.com
  10. The students can see their score as soon as they click on the final submit button. The consolidated score sheet of the top candidates will be published on the website www.aptkerala.org on 11th June 2017.
  11. The pattern of questions and marks distribution will be same as original UGC-CSIR NET examination.
  12. The candidates from outside Kerala also may be permitted to appear for the examination, provided they satisfy all the above conditions.
